Opera Mobile Gets the Axe on my Desire

I’m tired of constantly clearing the cache on my phone. Since Opera has been the biggest user of the little free space I have on my phone, it’s getting the boot. Opera also requires at least 10MB install space. But the stick that really broke the camel’s back is the frequent problems that I encounter lately. For some reason, scrolling and pinch-to-zoom don’t work. I have to terminate the program and restart it to make things display properly.

To be fair, it’s not entirely Opera’s fault. HTC Desire’s internal storage is just too small. But I think I can live with the stock browser for now.

Several of my officemates already rooted their desire/desire hd. I’m actually thinking of doing the same.
